Images of Fleetwood Masonic Hall
This page contains photographs, please allow time for it to open.

The building which we currently occupy was originally built as a private residence in about 1850. At the turn of the 20th century, it was opened up as an orphanage and remained as such until until the mid 50s, when members of the Fleetwood Lodges, who had formerly met at assorted hotels and pubs throughout the town, decided to buy it. The deposit was put down by a member of Hesketh Lodge, the oldest Lodge meeting at Fleetwood Masonic hall.Needless to say, a great deal of alteration was required to convert the building into the Masonic Hall we have become familiar with and over the years a great deal of refurbishment has taken place, the cost of which has been met by donations from the different Lodges and their members. The pictures you see here are the results of several years work. The Masonic Hall owes a debt of gratitude to W.Bro Jack I'Anson P.Pr.S.G.W. without whose drive and vision, none of what you see would have been possible.
