Minutes of the 372nd Regular meeting held at the Masonic Hall Fleetwood on Thursday 2nd Thursday 2006

The Lodge was opened in due form and with solomn prayer by the Installing Master W. Bro. F.J. Kennedy at 3.30pm.in the presence of 32 members and 45 visitors. The minutes of the 371st regular meeting held on Thursday 5th October 2006 were confirmed as a true and correct record of that meeting.

The secretary gave notice of the following correspondence.

1. The minutes of the FMHC meeting held on the 7th September 2006 together with a copy of the new rules. The next meeting is to be held on 30th November 2006 ( date to be advised ).

2. An E-Mail from W.Bro. Stuart Thornber thanking the Worshipful Master for the opportunity to give a talk on the 2010 festival. Particular thanks were given for the £8000 raised through members subscribing to become patrons of the Samaritons fund by purchasing the Samaritons Jewel.

The brethen were called to order to salute the Grand Officer W.Bro. J.C. Wallace P.A.G.D.C. and Provincial Officers W.Bro.J. I'Anson P.Pr.S.G.W. and W.Bro.P. Taylor Pr.J.G.W. The distinguished brethen thanked the Worshipful Master and brethen for their kindly salutations and greeted all brethen accordingly.

The following brethen were requested to act as installing officers.

W.Bro. B. T. Coulter. Installing Senior Warden.

W.Bro. R. Simpson. Installing Junior Warden.

W.Bro. J. M. McIlwaine. Installing Inner Guard.

The Senior Warden Bro. D. Watson was presented by W.Bro. C. Carnell P.Pro.J.G.D.

Bro. Watson was duly installed as Worshipful Master for the ensuing year by W.Bro. F J. Kennedy who was ably assisted by the installing officers.

The tools were presented by the following brethen. Masters Tools by W.Bro. F.R. Hopwood P.Pro.S.G.D. 3rd Degree Tools by Bro. I. Fyall. 2nd Degree Tools by Bro. L. Munro.1st Degree Tools by Bro. P. Hartley.The address to the Worshipful Master was delivered by W.Bro. C. Carnell P.Pro.J.G.D.and the address to the Wardens was given by W.Bro. A. Blackshaw P.Pr.J.G.W. The adress to the Brethen was given by W.Bro. P. Taylor Pr.J.G.W.

W.Bro.Taylor brought congratulations on behalf of the Pr.G.M.and thanked the Installing Master for an excelent ceremony.

W.Bro, C. Carnell presented W.Bro.Hopwood with a silver engraved hip flask as a personal gift on his own behalf and a bottle of Irish Whisky on behalf of the brethen of Wyre Lodge. Both gifts were presented as a token of gratitude and respect for W.Bro. Hopwoods 8 years as the Wyre Lodge Director of Ceremonies. On this occasion W.Bro. Hopwood appeared speechless.

W.Bro.K. Jackson responded on behalf of the Grand Officers present and past and congratulated the Installing Master for an enjoyable installation ceremony and W.Bro. J. I'Anson responded on behalf of the Provincial Officers.

There being no further business the lodge the Worshipful Master closed the lodge in peace and harmony at 6.45pm.
